Our dust control road binder is an environmentally friendly, biodegradable material that effectively reduces dust on gravel, packed dirt and paved surfaces. A by-product of the pulping process, the material is derived from lignin. Known as "nature's glue", lignin binds cellulose fibers into trees. Naturally tacky when moist, our dust control material penetrates the road surface, bonding with the road bed material. Forming a protective shield, the material prevents dust from rising into the air, and improves the compaction of some roadbed soils.
